When we decided to buy an area rug for our living room, I looked at lots of online rug shops, but never could hit the purchase button. What if I didn’t like it and had to pay a giant return fee? What if the color was different than the photo showed? Or what if I actually loved two and didn’t know which one would go with our home decor better?

Then I had a breakthrough when I realized Amazon sells area rugs (of course they do ;)) with FREE returns!! Suddenly, I realized that many of the rugs I liked on other websites were also offered on Amazon, giving me a stress-free way to make sure our new area rug would be perfect in our home. I was honestly shocked at how low the prices were, too! None of the rugs in this post are above $350 for a 9×12 (at the time of me writing this). That is insanely low compared to some rug boutiques!

First of all, here is the gorgeous rug in our living room! It is honestly even prettier in person than on the Amazon listing, and the price was a steal. It has cleaned super easily, too. Click here for the listing. We also ordered this rug, but decided we liked the first one better (it was a tough decision for sure!). All we had to do was repackage it, and UPS actually picked it up from my porch!

To prevent the rug from moving around when our crazy kids run on it, we placed this non-slip rug gripper underneath.

For those who are curious from Instagram, here is our coffee table/toy storage. It was really important that the toy bins not have hard/sharp sides and corners, so that someone falling into them wouldn’t get hurt!
